Seems people have noticed and like Texas Teamplayers
And they've noticed what makes Bigdog and his squads so special.

Oh, and guys, before anyone starts thinking jihad, let them have their opinions. They are saying we are a good server. No need to nitpick the finer details.

The server can be fun, but it can also be more trouble than it's worth sometimes. If you're up for a casual game of BF2142, like I commonly am when I get home from work and want to relax, TTP is not the place to play.

Damn right it ain't the place to play for casual.

Laggy, I agree about leaving them alone. Better to scare away a few non-teamplayers than have asshats that the admins have to ban/kick.

Anyone who plays regular on TTP's servers knows damn well that bigdog (that's me), and anyone like bigdog, is the reason such a server/gameplay exists.

You guys on here saying "oh well I do my lonewolf mech thing", or "when I get off work, I want to be left alone and do what I want in game" are the kinds of people that get banned at TTP. Maybe you haven't yet, but it'll happen. Always does.

If you don't want to play a multiplayer game, in squads, with objectives, commanders, and teamplay, then don't play 2142. And certainly don't play it at TTP.

What's sad is you people sit in here, bragging about how mellow and slick you are, while TTP continues to host more games, more players, more servers, more clans, more forums, and more users, day after day.

Anyone that agrees with the "I do what I want in my free time" mentality needs to stay off our servers. If/when you join, it's not "your free time". It's "our" free time. We are all there to play the game, play together, and play hard. If you don't like that, then you aren't there to play the game, you aren't there to play as a team, and you aren't there to play to win.

Instead of criticizing us for doing it right and cleaning house of all the non-teamplayers, start looking at yourselves and being part of the problem.

What I do have is an absolute intolerance for people in this thread and their "omg, someone ordered me to attack a flag, I ignored it, and I got banned, omg" attitude.

of course you got banned. You joined a squad, were ordered to do something, ignored your squad leader, and did what you want. you're playing a single player game, and we don't have room for people like you.

Love it, hate it. TTP lives on, and grows, with or without your support.

We bring in thousands a month in reserved slots.....people PAY to play on our servers. You raise your eyebrows and laugh at that all you want.....but the reality is, the game is better, faster, cleaner, and done right in our house.

Come and see. Or sit here and cry about it.
