Hello all! I downloaded PR today and will install it tomorrow to give it another go. I tried it when I first caught wind of it, but that shit was hard. This was before TTP had it's own server. I was wondering if anyone would like to give me some pointers and help me learn to play. I plan on reading the sticky guide, but I learn better hands on than I do reading. So, please, if I join your squad don't get too frustrated with me for being a noob and asking alot of "dumb" questions.

Thanks guys. I still remember when Commander told me that tv missles were steearable. "click click click click on the target" he kept saying. I also remember the first monthly match i played in. Bravo was my squad leader and he had connection problems. I think I ended up leading that squad most of the rounds. You kept getting disconnected and rejoining our side. My god, I've been playing here for a while. As soon as I get it installed I'll find you guys on xfire.

That's the one thing I've found with PR.. you can go onto the TTP server and see no one you recognize, yet when you join a squad and say you're new, they'll take your hand and show you what you need to know. ..and will be patient about it too.

I don't see that as much with other games.

Well, that's not true, the reg crew on 2142 is awesome, and there a some great teachers in vanilla aswell, but the complete strangers of PR stand out to me.
