With that config I can quickly "rotate" around my hat and see all angles and get back to cockpit view. Also for those who might be new to the stick with that setup if you bump your hat a second time to cockpit view it removes your cockpit so you have more field of vision below and to the sides.

The only thing I did not like about that in the Jet is I get disoriented to where I am for some reason. When I leave the cockpit the way you would normally view it I have far less problems knowing where I am.

The one thing for sure is that you have to keep checking your "6" or Snip is going to shoot your ass down and even then there might not be much you can do.....that is until you get some playing time in the Jet.

Funny I just bought one of these a few days ago. Flying with a joystick definately takes some getting used to. I keep crashing into shit (kinda normal for me though

) I went and practiced on some server that was full of bots and still couldn't kill anything. I've definately gotta practice.

Joystick is the best way to effectively fly a jet. It's the only thing I will fly a jet will. I use the same joystick that Civil posted, and I like the layout of buttons and it is decently priced.

I'm still using an older joystick, Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro...and believe it or not...one of the best joystick there is...It out performs all my other joysticks (I have like around 6 joysticks...3 logitechs(worst joysticks on the planet), MS force feedback pro, Saitek X52 and MS Sidewinder Precision 2)
