With that config I can quickly "rotate" around my hat and see all angles and get back to cockpit view. Also for those who might be new to the stick with that setup if you bump your hat a second time to cockpit view it removes your cockpit so you have more field of vision below and to the sides.

I'm still using an older joystick, Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro...and believe it or not...one of the best joystick there is...It out performs all my other joysticks (I have like around 6 joysticks...3 logitechs(worst joysticks on the planet), MS force feedback pro, Saitek X52 and MS Sidewinder Precision 2)
