Thread: FORMING PERMANENT SQUADS

Texas Teamplayers is all about working together as teams, so what I'd like to do is get together about 6 guys who want to learn to work as a team.

What I mean by that is this:

While we all know that BF2 gives you medals and badges for diversifying your actions and learning to play with different class types, I'd like to get a few guys together who want to learn how to get extremely good with one particular type of soldier.

In other words, I want to get a squad together made up of a guy who does support, one who does medic, two who do assault or special ops, etc. You get the idea.

I want to get this squad together almost every day around the same time. Each night, we can get together on the server and take out a few unsuspecting noobs. Together, we can get some pretty high scores and upgrade quickly.

Here's the three squad options I've thought up so far...

Team One - (For really down and dirty action)
Medic (squad leader)
Medic
Support
Support
Assault
Engineer

Team Two - (For surgical strikes)
Support (squad leader)
Support
Medic
Assault
Sniper
Sniper

Team Three - (The thorn in the enemy side)
Support (squad leader)
Medic
Medic
Spec Ops
Spec Ops
Spec Ops


I've got some names for these squads too, but they're stupid and I'm open to better suggestions. I'd love to lead a squad built like these, composed of guys who know how to lead and how to follow. One that can hop into a blackhawk together, fly to a spot, dig in, and own - quickly and decisively. We all know that a fully loaded BTR-90 with a complete squad inside that can cover every angle is pretty formidable, so let's get one together.

I'm a pretty good squad leader, but a squad leader is only as good as the men who follow him.




Who's with me? Post or send me a private message if you're interested. I play almost every night with few exceptions.

I'm usually on the server around 7-9. BUT, I also like to get in some alone time really early in the morning, around 3 or 4 when I can just practice and scout out terrain for different attack approaches and defense stances. Anyone is free to join me. I'll probably be on late tonight/early tomorrow around 3am.

Oh, by the way, special invite goes out to Big Hub, bigdog, sjt, and Ron Burgundy. DevilDog had to report for duty this weekend, but he's in when he gets back. That's 6 there, but I need alternates and backups, cause I know that not everyone can play every night.
