    Video settings for PR...?

I find that there are several times where the video is so bright, that I can't see a damn thing. Now, all my settings in Video are set at Low or off, so, why can I not look more than a couple of inches into the sky without it whiting out? And why, when I play on the MEC team, does the left shirt sleeve white out the compass at the bottom?

Check your view distance. You are going to have to turn it up some.

Start playing with your settings, like brightness... Everything has a setting.

You do need to slide your view to distance to 100% as well like Nuckle said.

Yea check your brightness for sure. Your vid settings should not effect what you are asking about. Also check the transluceny of your map.

Already had the view distance set at 100%. This isn't really a matter of FOW, it's more a problem of brightness. I've already played with all the settings on the monitor itself, thinking that maybe it was set too bright, wrong. All the other settings in Video Options within BF2 and BF2PR are already set to low or off when applicable. I still have the problem.

Does the problem show up on screenshots? If so post one up to help we who are about to diagnose.

Otherwise, you could try a physical picture of the monitor with the nearest handy camera.

I would, but for some reason, I can't play it on single player, I'm guessing that nobody else can either...?

Guess I'm going into the server......

What's wrong with Multiplayer -> Create Local, select map, Create Server?

What Type of Player Are You?

A survey posing the question, which type of player are you?

Offensive: You prefer to choose the aggressive side and try and kill as many zombies as you can, taking the shotgun and just blasting away like you want the most kills in the round

Defensive: You prefer to hang back and protect team mates from other commons, giving other players health and risking everything to revive your fallen comrades.

All Around: You switch between the two styles depending on what you feel at the moment and/or who you're playing with. You have no set style.

As you know mate I am offensive no matter what weapon I use, and I'm often in front by default. You're defensive, which is why I think we play so well together.
