Do I need to buy 2 copies of 2142?

Hey all,

I mostly play on my laptop, but have recently upgraded my desktop computer. I'm considering putting BF2142 on it, so I can also play on that computer, which should allow me to increase my graphics. Here's the rub; I don't want to delete it from my laptop, as I travel often. Do I need to buy a second copy of BF2142 and NS? EA's "helpline" is pretty useless.

No, you can install it on as many places at once, but only play with one at a time.

If you are installing on a second computer, be sure to get the EA downloader and install NS if you paid for it before you install the 1.4 patch. If you install NS after the 1.4 patch, you will have to reinstall the 1.4 patch to get things to work.

It works fine if you are only playing on one computer at a time. I take my copy over to my buddies house sometimes and play there.

I play 2142 on a laptop and PC interchangeably with the same copy of the game, it works fine.
