I agree. Sometimes it is difficult to talk to your squad when you have a constant voice coming from the Commander.

***Edit***: I fixed your quote bro.

Also when commanding you gotta know which flags are vital or secondary for the squads to attack or defend and drop supplies to armor who are attacking flags.

I was giving you a nice little :P because I was making a joke...

...I guess you could read this for me and see if you'd like to add anything. Or you could just say that I'm completely off and then write another article with another view-point.

Don't worry if you're new to the community, just jump right in!

Welcome to the forums and the community.... TTP sure like to listen and an article for Commanding Tactics is a great asset and surely we like to read or hear about stategies.

Jlspence, thanks for the post and I applaud you on your War College Ribbon. That alone, speaks that you have time in that area and we would sure like to reference what you can give us.

    Welcome to Texas ...TeamPlayers...

Actually, TTI is more like 5-7 seconds, depending on where you are placing the artillery strike with regards to where the artillery is actually located. Most average maps, we're talkin' about a 5 second TTI.

Doesn't everyone have their War College Ribbon?

I too wrote a BF2 Commander's Tutorial which I feel is a must read for new players as well as seasoned ones. I won't get into the details here but if anyone is interested, the word doc is here.

Shortly thereafter, I made this video http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=7qjYlPNo3Ds

    Enjoy!

Learned a lot re the video or the doc?

    That's a 7 page doc!

I had that up on tons of forums and boards around the net. I thought with better exposure it might help in creating better commanders out there. There are so many bad ones, often you're better off not having one at all.
