SOme ideas for special infected lfd3 :-)...
I, i am new on this forum and i excuse me for my bad english.. here some ideas i thought about ne special infected:
Dazer:
It looks like an undead surgeon with 2 injection holdin in his hand.
He has really low life, boomer life.
when he does his normal attack, instead of deal only the damage, he also daze the survivor for 5 second or maybe more.
Dazed survivor cant change weapon and start frenzy shoot, like u are holding fire, and the controls are inverted: mouse x and y aces are inverted and also the wasd move, so if u whant moove left when u are dazed, u have to moove rioght instead. :-)
this ability, cause of the lack of healt is to became invisible for a really short time, like 10 second so u can reach the enemy in melee.
Bitter:
As the name says, it bites.
but not the survivor, he bites the common infected. first ability u bites a common infected, injecting him a virus that cause a litle explosion of blood and organs when the infected-bited die. u can bite more than one common infected on the path of the survivor, creating a sort of landmine into the map.
survivors cant distinguish common infected or bites one. so they have to be carfull kill them when not too near.
Bitter can't attack the survivor directly but the second button of mouse cause a premature explosion of the bited zombies.
Mimic:
Mimic is normally disguised as a common infected. the survivor cant distinguish him from common. while in the common infected form, he deal damage like common zombies.
His ability is to take out his camouflage by pressing n1 mouse dealing an explosion when he comes back to his normal form. when in normal form is really fast and does a lot of damage by melee.. but he also have really low life.
after a certain ammount of time without attacking the survivor he camuflage again into a common infected, ready to explode again.

These are good ideas, but they make the special infected too overpowered. If someone is hit by a dazer the special infected would have no problem with killing them... Hell, even the common infected would bring them down a bit before the dazer dies. Maybe for the campaign, but almost every special infected idea I read isn't good for actual people playing as it.
Your ideas are great, as i said before, and I honestly couldn't come up with anything better if I tried. But we have to balance the survivors with the special infected, because it's hard enough being the survivors as it is, especially when put up against a good team.

u right, but consider all of theese 3 tipe of zombies cant block a player like charger smoker hunter or jocky, so they are similar to the spitter instead for role of distract the survivor. the balance is yes a problem but can be fixed with some adjust like: only one of theese tipe can be spawn in a infected team, su u can have for support a dazer or a spitter or a biter or else..
that can obviate the problem of istant block the survivor team
