Bad squadleading
<rant>
This has been harped on so much in the past that we have stickies and HOWTOs on the subject, but I would just like to reiterate once again:
If you are going to form a squad, you had better give me some *^&%ing ORDERS. If you are unwilling to lead your squad, DO NOT FORM THE SQUAD!
And please, for the luv-o-god, do NOT tell me to "just relax and play the game" when I beg for orders. Giving and following SL orders IS PART OF THE DAMN GAME.

if your SL is not leading then leave and form your own, or in text start asking for orders. Start with the squad then team then global and if he continues to not give orders(as a good teamplayer should) you could get his ass booted by an admin for lack of leadership in a position of leadership sort of deal.

Re: Bad squadleading
Damn it, I had a similar problem on Belgrade the other night. I was commander and 3 guys made it past the front line and took square, all the while I am yelling at squads 2,3, and 4 to get their asses back to sqaure and take square back.
The opposing team even eventually took outpost from me, but I had one awesome squad 1 and they got it back for me. The other squads would accept the orders but would not follow them. They would just keep spawning at roadblock instead of outpost. I typed a bunch of shit in chat both for the team and for the other team to see also. I asked for admin help but received none at the time.
We did win the game in points but not style that is for sure. At the end of the game I said "great game squad 1, as for the rest of you shit head loosers thanks for nothing".
Pissed me off, :5

Re: Bad squadleading
Well I had a moment of sucky SL’ing today and have to apologize to Blah and the rest of my squad for the fumble I had when I inherited the squad when our original SL abdicated his roll.
Frag and his crew were blowing through our consoles and we could catch a breath to allow us to set up a cohesive defense. I told Blah not to rez me because I was in the hot zone and he was going to get fraged as well and I was going to spawn on our deck to pod up and try to take out the beacon or transport or what ever the heck they were pouring on our titan from. I didn’t pay attention close enough to our titan health and should have booked my butt back to the core. Not saying we would have been anymore successful but I did not think ahead.
But all in all I flubbed it, I didn’t even set up the squad objective to Titan D but left it on attack 2.
I was a bad roll model. :3
