Thread: My disconnecting

I'm sorry to every one that I've been in the chopper/jet with and suddenly left. I've been having some issues with my comptuer freezing up while playing and it eventually reboots so obviosuly i get disconnected. I know last night I was in and right as I fired one shot at the enemy attack chopper and missed i went to try to switch to guns and I froze leaving my pilot stranded in the middle of a fight. I'm going to try to do some work on my computer and see what it is but I only notice it in BF2.

I'm testing out some of the other games I have manily COD4 to see if it does the same thing but rest assured I'm not leaving my BF2 friends...

Wild, that explains a lot! Last Thursday I was in the bomber with you and you were teaching me how to bomb because I've never done it before and just as you lined up a shot for me you disconnected. I didn't have the sense to take the drivers seat because I was laughing so I crashed. (Irony makes me laugh) I thought you might have gotten kicked by that weird Punk Buster bug at just the wrong time.

Well I hope you figure out your computer woes. And thanks for taking the time to teach me how to bomb, no matter how brief. I'm looking forward to another flying/bombing lesson. :9

during a game of left 4 dead 2 everytime i play it on the xbox i get a annoying problem!
during gameplay when i reach to the saferoom at the end of the level and the next level is loading up, i get knocked back to the valve screen as if i have just loaded the game up. i then have to select my hardrive and then wait for the download maps of the passing and sacrifice to register and then i am on the menu again and then rejoin the game i am in. this happens ALL THE TIME.
it is not my broadband as i have two broadband providers in my house, one being bt broadband with 6mb and the other being virgin with 50mb speed and i am using a ethernet cable with both. when it has happened i have pulled the ethernet out of one and put it in to the other and get the same. i have tried cleaning my xbox memory cahe and i have also tried both playing from the disc and loaded the game to the hardive and played from there and i have tried 2 brand new discs. i have the new 250gb xbox. the xbox is not hot as i have a stand up big fan cooling the area too.
I AM STUMPED!!
this problem does not happen on any other game includding left 4 dead 1, red dead redemption etc.
