    Fix required on TTP's PR Server

    Two days ago, I noticed that the TTP PR server had the 'Brit Bleed Bug' on Fool's Road. When v .756 was first released, the Brits would bleed on Fool's Road unless they had all the control points short of Militia Bunker. This is a bug and the PR Team released some sort of server side fix for it. Several days after the release of v .756 TacticalGamer and TCombat fixed this issue on their servers. I'm sure a TTP PR admin could find out the necessary info to correct this problem.

    Just thought I'd give ya a heads up.

    Not sure it isn't working right..... I have the same server files on our server as they do.

    We are up to date.

    I can't respond with the technical details because the PR guys do not let the average players in on the server side stuff. But I can speak in lay terms. On Fools Road, the TTP server has the Brits bleeding if they don't control every point except for Militia Bunker and that is a definate bug. I will ask some dev's next time I play with them for the technical details of why. But as group hosting a public PR server, I'm sure your admins could get the necessary info from them too.

    I just spoke with fuzzhead (one of the Dev's) and he said there is a fix on the server.zip file that resolves the bleed bug on Fool's Road (don't know if it addresses any other problems as well). He said he/someone will post later tonight about the fix in the Server Admin section of their forums (realitymod.com).

    They are working on a couple of HotFixes, though have not been released yet. Maybe we will have them ready by tonight, per your conversation.

    I will check into it.

    The hotfix is being released now. We will impliment into the server as soon as possible... The server is full right now.

    It tested good earlier tonight,,,, We will get it on the live server as soon as possible.

    Autoshittys

    The word used by people to describe the automatic shot gun. The auto shitty... Not to be confused with the itty bitty titty commitee.

    Now, i don't understand the hate for this gun... I mean i guess i kind of do.

    Back when L4D1 came out everyone latched onto the pre patched auto shottie that was even MORE powerful.. While i went the more un-popular way and used the pre patched Hunting Rifle.. Which i think should have never been changed. ( They tighten the aimr while moving').

    Back then auto shottie pubs would vote kick or mock me for using a HR. I acutally had to pretend to pick up a shottie and hide my HR.

    I've had soooo many wars with people about the stupid autshottie VS HR back in the day... Glad to know i was always right... SUCKAAAs!!! MUahahA..



    Yet, my opinion is still the same..... Autoshotties are not over powered and all weapons are equal if used right. Some are just easier to use.



    I mean seriously whats so bad or over powered about the autoshotty anyways?? The only difference between a pump and autoshotty is the way its used.

    Pumps require more melee spam.... Auto shottties don't. Auto shottie spam causes more friendly fire while melee spam doesn't.

    Sure the direct damage per second is nasty on a autoshottie but.... Thats the point. The only thing this really effects is an agressive up close tank.

    I mean, if anyones wants to point fingers at the most over powered weapon in L4D its the damn melee weapons in L4D2. No fatigue and it can kill everything in seconds..

    Sure the sound of actual shottie spam sounds annoying.. But only newbs spam non stop. And i say let he newbs spam what ever they want, they need all the help they can get.

    I made this post because some guy was mocking me for picking up a autoshottie in realism VS. I had to correct his stupid ass with "im using double pistols as my main weapon". I need the shottie to kill chargers and jockeys on impact..

    Then i get a speech about how pistols suck in Realsim VS..... lol.... Here we go again.

    I don't see how melee weapons are overpowered, considering they have a range of a metre at most. If something is overpowered, it's going to dominate other weapons in its category. The melee weapons aren't clearly better than dual pistols or magnums, people choose between them all, even the noobs.

    They're not even a tool for rushers, considering how vulnerable they leave you to specials.

    I try not to use the autoshotty, unless on rare occasion.

    I love the pump better tbh. I'd rather go the whole game with just that, than anything else, as weird as it sounds. I guess I'm just not good with any other gun, since I use that one all the time ..so I'm always hesitated to take something other than the pump.

    I do hate the sound of autoshotty spam against the walls. I know they're after me and will kill me.. :X
    It's a cool gun to take at times though I guess.
