In my opinion spence has gone one step further in that he did not come here to apologize because he was banned, as many do, but because he knew already that what he did was wrong. He has done what we ask of those that have been banned without having to be banned. What more were you hoping for?

An old Texas saying comes to mind "moehill into a mountain" or was that Arkansas, wait Oklahoma I know it wasn't Minnesota. We don't even have moehills. EEEhaw

bacon,
The topic has been up for 6 hours, not 6 months. You know as well as I do that there are 12 people that have the power to ban after the incident. When and if 1 or more of those 12 decide to ban him for something he is the only one that remembers then I will vote it up. Until then this has gone far enough. Apology has been given and accepted. Locked.

Costume Customization
Even though Valve would never do this, costume customization would be kinda cool for the survivors. Here are the costumes I'd like on some characters.
Zoey: blue hoodie (not wearing the hood), slightly-faded black jeans, black converse shoes and her hair would be like the one up there without the headband
Rochelle: black t-shirt with neon colors splattered like paint on the front, white jeans, black and yellow sneakers and her regular bun
Your turn Share your thoughts.
NOTE: This thread is just for fun.

I feel like costume customization would ruin the feel of the game. L4D2 alone is already less scary and atmospheric; if you put in clothes or whatnot it would just make the game seem like an item clusterfuck. Especially if it's only for survivors (infected would look ridiculous with custom clothes).
I think customization like this should be kept in the two VALVe games it's already in.

Well I know that Valve would never do this, but I just wanted to do it for fun lol. Here, let me edit my first post.

Who knows. They might end up implementing this in a L4D3. I think most clothes would ruin the feel. I think the L4D feel was best in the L4D1 beta; the survivors had apparel that looked like they were living through a zombie apocalypse. They changed it in the final version. And although the clothes are still decent, the beta ones were the best for the mood.
In L4D2 the survivors have clothes showing they just came into this mess, normal every-day clothes... it didn't really ruin the feel that much. The frying pans and clowns did that. But if they add all sorts of clothes to choose from, like neon shirts and other crazy colors and styles (like Nick in a viking suit) it would look silly. They will probably put hats or clothes or something in CS: Global Offensive, and probably in L4D3.
It's win win for VALVE; they make money from people who buy from the store, and more interest is made in the game from the ability to obtain new items. However, I don't want them to implement something like this in L4D3 because it would ruin the mood and atmosphere by having all sorts of outfits. Unless they let you choose from a few basic ones.
Plus even if they do put clothes or hats or any form of customization into L4D2/3, the console version/s will not get them.

There's always mods and stuff, but I don't care about clothes really. Valve are the one's with character designers, I'll leave it to them.
Valve just love micro transactions though, so I reckon they're going to be in Left 4 Dead 3. Heck, they might start loving them so much they might just patch them in with DLC.
