Apology to dj-huerta and TTP
I've been meaning to post this all week but have been busy at work.
Over the weekend, on a round of Clean Sweep I TK'd dj-huerta. It was accidental but it also wasn't. We were defending the MEC Airfield (main) and he jumps in a nearby jeep. I hit the "I Need A Ride" on the commo-rose but he apparently didn't hear me as he kept going. I fire a few rounds in it from behind with my L85A1 to get his attention AND the freaking thing BLOWS UP! I was stunned. I didn't notice it smoking when he jumped in and in my almost 1,400 hours playing BF2 I have never seen a jeep explode after 4-5 rounds from an L85. Sorry dj.From what i gather though, everyone (admin's included), need to have a cup of shut-the-$%^-up, take a few to chill... - Bunni

Getting frustrated is no way to get attention. You are lucky you weren't banned.
First question that entered my mind while reading your post is where was the rest of your squad and why weren't you with them? Did you expect dj to be your taxi? Were you lone wolfing or one-man squadding?

Re: Apology to dj-huerta and TTP
Well, first of all, no where in the post did I say I was frustrated. I wasn't.
Second of all, if you'd taken the time to check my stats link you'd see that after 1400 hours playing BF2, I have less than 100 as a lone wolf and MOST of that was when I was just learning the game.
Thirdly, I WAS with my squad, who was - you guessed it - defending the airfield. :P
If you're saying you never shot a couple rounds in the back of a jeep pulling away all the while you're hitting "I NEED A RIDE" then I bow to your perfection. From what i gather though, everyone (admin's included), need to have a cup of shut-the-$%^-up, take a few to chill... - Bunni

You can consider bacons questions rhetorical. We dont need answers for them here, but you need to take them to heart. Actions speak far louder than words and your stats.
Intentional Team Damage and Team Kills will earn you a fast trip to the Banned forums and I am sure you would rather not have to go through the process of apologizing for acting rashly in that location...

C'mon now don't cause a hussle cause of me. I appreciate the support but I'm really not mad and I really don't even remember that happening. I throw led once in awhile if someone drives off in a one man buggy too however, I do not teamkill unless by accident , so I feel ya. I will tell you though that the only time I am in a one man buggy is to avoid arty or enemy fire. As for your apology I accept with no worries. Keep it real and whether I'm throwing led your direction or you throwin led my way...I'll see you on the battlefield!!

It seems to me that what I'm reading here, as this is just the public forum, is an individual that knew he did something wrong, and that it bothered him to the point of having to let it be known publicaly. When a person gets to that point, then you can rest assured that a leason is being learned.
The banned forums is where we have to answer for our actions.... this is NOT the banned forums. Let this dude speak his mind, and then let the other dude respond, simple.
I was going to add an a quick story about my "incidental" team kill incident, but I think I'll just plead the 5th now...

Re: Apology to dj-huerta and TTP
No what your reading is that sometimes we loose control of our weapons because we can't throw things. Although I understand the severity of teamkilling I dont think that was intended along with intentional damage. I hope we would all think that throwing a few bullets at a jeep would do little harm. Now throwing a few bullets at lone soldier would be different but that's not what happened. I respect your concern and your intent so feel validated. Let's get back to being a "team" cause that's the real intent!
