Re: Friendly claymores and mines
The scenarios I've seen this happen are usually. Someone on your team is near a claymore when an enemy sets it off. The other has been when the enemy hits your mine with friendlies near. I've seen it happen and it sucks when it does. It sucks even more when your teammates decide to punish for the freak accidents.

or the willingness to "Assume a mine is Friendly"
I did it today 3 times. I need to stop. I'm even an engineer most of the time...... its like stoppping to pick up a penny POINTLESS. until you start counting all those pennies you didn't pick-up. coulda bought a Harley....... or gotten a bunch of repair points eh?

yeah but how many mines does it take picking up to get a single repair point...for that matter why does it take so long to get a single repair point even after you have like repaired several team items in a row. I personally think that sometimes i should have gotten a point and i got nada {freaky}

Well, I gotta say the only thing not easy about this server is the non FF mines.
I hate giving/getting tk's for tripping friendlies, but I feel deep down it's cheezy to have it off.

If I remember right, BF2s.com has a wikipidea with an explanation about what exactly is required to get a repair point.
