well, considering your average ~100 ranked BF2 server has an average connection of 30+.....and we're in the 11-12 range..........top 100.......would be quite an acheivement.

That's understandable. But I'm sure those top 100 servers didn't explode right out of the gate either.

Don't doubt yourself just yet bigdog. There is more potential here than you may care to acknowledge. I have played with some of the most team oriented, idea receptive, and highly motivated people since playing @ TTP than on any other server bar-none.

It'll happen. Word is getting out.

well, I just look at our CS and DoD servers, which have peaked in their popularity, essentially, for the last 6 months.

Both of average (or will average) a little less than 50% of thei total player limit. Such as CS, which is 20 maxplayers, and currently 8.6 average players. DoD in it's best times here (over last christmas break) was in the same range, and will return soon enough.

Assuming BF2 acheives the same level of popularity.....that puts us in the 20-25 average player population.

And that's securely in the top 500. Actually more like the top 200-150. And that's......nuts if we can hold it.

Word gets out, you're right. And we aint going anywhere. As long as people are playing, so will we.
