punkbuster issues..this is new to me.

I have done nothing that would get me busted.. but every server I join, punkbuster boots me off. I was booted 3 times from TTP just now. please advise.

ok where? got no problem trying to figure it out for myself I just dont know where to start.. this just sucks BTW.. I have done nothing wrong... that I know of anyway

he is referencing the issues sticky at the top of this forum...

what message do you get? How long do you last in game?

When you are in game, look at the bottom of the screen and you will see a punksbuster message before you get kicked...

This happens to me when I need to update PunkBuster manually. If I were you I would go to the PB site and update, I bet that would resolve your issue. let me find the web address and I will edit it in here.

Punkbuster needs to be treated like an anti-virus app , dont wait for the updates guys, install the updater on your desktop , and manually search for new file patterns every week at the least. I no longer trust that evenbalance is using the autoupdaters as much as they used to, instead relying on volutary updates by the users. :2

Agreed with the above, I've done that actually it's to the point I'm so paranoid that I try to update PB each time before I play

Ditto, I just quick run the manual update before I start the game. Otherwise you have to sit through all the loading just to find out PB is all wacked out.
