Thread: im having a problem loging in to the bf2 server...

everytime i try to play bf2 the server wont connect. i log on to bf2 click multiplayer, and nothing pops up on the server list. ive even try to connect using the i.p. address, still nothing... it gives me the same 2 messages each time: "you do not have the mod which is currently activated on this game server." and,"you have an older version than the server." WHAT DO I DO TO FIX THIS?!?!?!? im havin withdraws, i need to play asap!!!!!!!!

If you don't have the 1.41 patch you need to get it.

Well, this happened yesterday during the server restart.... he has the patch as I installed in myself.... so not sure why he would get this message.... probably check your FILTERS.

How about I just come by and a look at it....? Duh!

Okay here is something to try. Shot in the dark. When you bring the game up, go to community and make sure you have the mod (patch) active. This could be your problem.

Alright, resolved. Looks like he didn't install the patch after reinstall of the game (leason learned). Illcsjrb Is back in business, ya'll better watch out.
