I can't count the times you guys cycled out to let me lead on the ground if you just happened to be the SL when I joined the squad and wound up with either the Jet or Chopper. Another great thing you guys did, if you saw a group of idiots hanging out at the airfield if you went down, you'd either bring a kit I needed or you would ask. Then you'd spawn on green to help ground pound instead of fighting for air assets. Say what some of you will, but unless you've been there on many occasions and have had the interaction I did with them, then it's just uninformed viewpoints.

And in case any of you remember these guys; Packetshooter & Huh, they would always bomb targets for me whenever I asked them too and they were capable of doing it. This was way back before commanders ever tried to get the jets to follow orders. Well placed orders for a squad with a jet is just as good as having a jets in a squad together just for commander use. All depends on the quality of the player and the way they are treated with respect.

And to reiterate a point Boat made about quiet squads. One of the best most effective rounds I've ever had was in a squad with a bunch of HELL clan members. They hardly ever spoke at all (maybe two things the whole round), the SL set markers, the members spawned green and the effectiveness was something I'll never forget. Sometimes too much talk confuses players, squad members, and even the squad leader. Sometimes just focusing on where the SL is going and paying attention to the map are plenty helpful.

Who's bashing NME? These fuckers rule.

While the NME's were playing at TTP their squads were always at the top of my list to join. And I have always been pretty picky...

I don't understand the bad press you guys (NME) have gotten in this thread, and if you find your way to the vanilla server for some good old fashioned BF2, the server and your team will be better for it.
