Re: FYI - Breaking news
for those that didn't want to click on the link to look:
thats not a bad port of the bf2 wake island to 2142 imo. It also looks more balanced. If you'll note, the attacking EU start with the option to spawn on the central island as opposed to flying over.
I like how the central point is "Titan bay"

Ugh, slight variation on the slaughterhouse known as "Fall of Berlin"
I HATE Fall of Berlin, even when I'm not the one over the barrel. Berlin, Gibraltar, and to some degree Cerebre, are just so linear. Made me glad when we brought in Suez, Minsk and Verdun as conquest. Much more latitude to move around in.

The Sir Community is infamous for doing good things. If what is seen in the corner of the Wake Island map is true, then we can expect some good coming from the map. What would be cool is that when you take the titan bay, you gain control of a decommissioned old titan that still has its ground turrets and AA guns functioning. That would be a cool twist.
Can't wait for them to finally get the patch out."In matters of style, swim with the currents... in matters of principle, stand like a rock."
