    It has been a little quiet on the Battlefield PC scene recently when it comes to what the DICE Live team has been up to. That’s because on top of dealing with cheats and server problems, we have been busy listening to you all in the community and working on a new update for Battlefield 2142. As well as making significant updates, we are bringing new content to 2142 which will bring new experiences to the Battlefield. As with Update 1.40, we will be running public beta on the update to gather your feedback so watch out for that announcement when we’ll be explaining more about the new content.

    Would be nice to take down the transports. People don't seem to realize I let the transports go by unmolested if I'm on forward point air supression. I can't take down trasnports with only 2 shots when they are fully healthy.

    if I'm off on silos somewhere, the transport is probably already damaged so I'll go for it, but healthy? no point.

    Yeah, or when they 'fixed' the ganz....


    to be honest, i'd like to see some of the other equipment revamped. EMP grenades need to have more of an effect on sentires imo. I'd like to see more of a use for say the radar and smoke grenades, and maybe the heart beat detector?

    Bigger area, 100% opacity, longer stay time on smoke grenades (although they are pretty good now, they still should be much better). Maybe a 40m area for 15-20 seconds, at zero visibility.

    Mine bait should be made to no longer affect friendly mines, to prevent Goliath-nuking. Goliath armor should change to a unique material type that is absolutely invulnerable to ALL other fire unless all the cells are destroyed, or else the repair rate drastically increased.

    Fix the crashes. Make 64-man Titan possible. Make movable Titans actually usable. Fix Verdun Titan.

    A few more 64-man CQ/AS maps, maybe. Two more would be nice.

    Think team, man! If you know there's a reliable friendly pilot about, go ahead and ding it- Even if you only hit it once, it makes life a lot easier on your friendly gunship pilot because one salvo will be enough to drop it. That salvo will also drop it without the passengers having time to bail. Not only does that send the squad back to re-spawn, but it'll give me a chance at that elusive 35 aerial kill badge... :9
