Thread: I have never been...

So unbelievably embarassed to play on this server. I am embarassed that I had my girlfriend sign up and get on.If you have seen me around for a while you know I grump in game about certain things but tonight and the last several days on this server have been over the top.
Team stacking occurs, but the last few days on this server have been the worst I have seen since I started playing here as a regular. I dont mean just ranks because even losers can statpad those. (nothing against those who have earned them) I am talking about people that I know on this server who play here regularly and you know can play the game.
How many people that are out seeking a good time and want to play on a fun server are going to spend more than a round or two here before realizing all they are going to do is get beat time and time again? Everyone says well do something about it, I did try. The teams were so lopsided it just was no fun and certainly there was no community spirit of teamwork going this weekend.
I mean really, how are you supposed to clear the people out of your mains when that is all you have left and they are sitting there spawn raping you? How much fun is that? How long are people going to stay if that is all they see happening round after round. Not me, and certainly not anyone who is trying to play the game for a good time. As far as I am concerned TTP hit a new low this weekend, I hope someone wakes up somewhere and realizes that other than me.

Hmm. Well I'm truly sorry you feel that way; however, I have to say that I think I've seen it much worst before. Our team kept winning tonight, but not by much, less that 100 points most games.

we've had some discusions here bewfore about this very subject, so we are all very aware of the circumstances that create un balanced teams; many of us do what we can to unbalance things, but mainly out of our control most of the time. I end up just focusing on the game at hand, win or lose. It's just as fun to win as it is to lose when you playing with a Squad that communicates and works as a team...., IMO.

Again, I realize this is not a new issue. I come in I stay on the side the computer puts me and I play. But sometimes to much is to much. You both have good points and I totally agree with them. Xavsnipe is right, if you have a 4-0 score you have good teams and you both fought hard. I'll take those games everyday of the week and twice on sunday. Even as rv2 said you dont mind losing if you have a good working squad, at least you know you guys did what you could.
I did however notice that after I complained in the game and took a break to come bitch here, when I went back the teams had evened up quite a bit. For that I thank you. I have had a lot of fun playing here and yes sometimes shit sucks. But even shit loses its smell.
301 points to Major, I really would like them to be here on the TTP server, still even with my bitching the best server handsdown.

I've been switching sides to try to help even things out every now and then but I usually stay on the side that the game puts me on. There have been a couple of times that I switched after a blow out round and it took my new team a couple rounds but we finally started coming out on top.

There are a lot of good players on TTP but not many are willing to switch to even teams, start a squad and lead it around a map, or be a good commander and direct your whole team.

Yesterday, I came into the game on a team that had no commander, the round was already well underway. I took commander, tried to defend the docks and while I was dead, I got squads complaining that I was replying to their request quick enough and even had someone try to mutiny.

Some players need to man up. Don't wait for someone else to start a squad. Start your own and lead it. Apply for commander and take control of the map.

But I think TTP is managed as good as anyone can manage a BF2 server... The rules are enough to enforce straight up legit play on the entire battlefield and they don't limit you in anyway. More rules would just hinder gameplay. I think it's perfect as it is.
