There is a defined limit to the size of the signatures people are allowed to incorporate into postings at TTP. The entire sig should be no larger than 600 pixels wide and 150 pixels high. This also includes any quotes you may have above or below your graphic of choice. Each line of text is approximately 13 pixels on its own.

Trying to get people to conform has been met with haphazard results. We've tried guidelines, rules, policies, suggestions, PMs trying to get people to reduce the size of their sigs. Now that the summer is here and I have a bit more 'free time' I have decided I am going to 'help' people fix their sigs. In the very near future, if I see one that is incorrectly sized, I will simply substitute in an appropriately sized sig for you. It was very specially designed by one of our own admins to help convey the message.

The sizes were voted on in the past. If you don't like the current limitations, find the old thread and discuss it there. The current limitations were decided on to reduce the clutter and business of our boards and not make it look like a cheap MySpace page.

Fix your stuff or I'll help you. No need to comment, just do it.

FWIW, the stats sig I'm using is exactly 600x150. The 2142-Stats.com GraphicID for this sig is 33133.

Yeah I did some looking around and settled on that one after I got a friendly PM pointing out my old one was too big.

hmmm now where did you get that sig :P

I see I need to make an adjustment to it based on glitch's stat info (his rank pushes the online/offline status too far over ...BLEH :P )

I need to work with it more and make more color variants as well (as alternate sig #s)
and possibly make an alternate that is shorter in height by 13 pixels or so to allow for a 1 line quote

Right now. I'm playing around with a copy of it...working with the class stat section

I thought it was you that made the sig, Frau, but didn't want to misspeak. I started working on one a while back and got frustrated dealing with the spacing and whatnot and gave up.

Width wise, yeah, but the height is too big as it is now. You need to either get rid of the quote or make the image about 13px smaller to allow for the quote to be there.

Actually, Worst needs to make his image 39 pixels smaller in height. Each line of text is 13 pixels in height.

"Quote from ...bigdog.." - 13 pixels
"I don't recall...." - 13 pixels
"generator, which..." - 13 pixels

the total for the quote is 39 pixels in height.
