I have two things to put out and I'll cover them both with one post for now. First off... need instuctions how to post a screen shot in a thread - I was asked 2 weeks ago to put up a shot of a vulgar (racist) player and would like to get that done and also add a few deliberate teamkiller shots as well.

The other thing spawns from a recent post of MaBell regarding squadleaders. I was just playing and about a third of the way into the round I took command as we had none. As you all know (or should know), when in command you have a view of the battlefield that no else has on your team. I issued commands - for those of you who have played with me, I dont do that often as most SLs know what to do and I just try to support as best I can. Anywho, I have two squad leaders with no other members and ask them to send join requests for about 5 minutes and, based on that they were still solo and info to come, I am fairly sure neither did. In the interim, commands were issued. One squad lead leader refused all commands issued (3 different ones)... this was lonewolf[DZ| ... I got him talking on command channel and was asked what commands etc etc.. so I issued a 4th which was promptly refused. Bear in mind there was voice comms going on at the time (both parties) had and were using voice. I wasn't put down or anything of that nature, just kept getting comments about commands not being seen and the like. In the end, as opposed to a constant arguement (which ALL SLs would have had to listen to) I resigned and joined the squad of said person. We were playing clean sweep and had a single flag left (and NOT either airstrip). SL never one said anything over the mic nor moved. When I say never moved, he was using a sniper kit and just didnt move towards anyflag, not to cap it nor help squad members help cap it. I stayed in the squad for about 8 minutes and left. Reason to bring it up is just this: there is little to be done about poor squad leaders, but when in command and they dont follow orders should it be brought here for further action or just chalked off as part of the game? We lost that round and lonewolf wasn't the only SL to not follow orders, though the others did soon as I started beefing about it in voice.

How to put a screen shot into a thread would be more useful to know so help (detailed) there more appreciated.

Here is the easiest way.

1. Go to the topic you want to post the SS.
2. Click the reply button.
3. Click the browse button under Download ImageShack Toolbar!
4. Find the image on your computer.
5. Click host it.
6. Copy the code from I believe image for forums 2.
7. come back to your reply and paste that code.
8. PM Civil if you need help.

As for players not following orders whether it be a SM or SL ask for an admin. Do it repeatedly if you have to.

What I do is make sure that the url I am linking to is bracketed by the following

[ i m g ] [ / i m g ] - there are in fact no spaces in the code, I put the spaces in to show you what it should say before and after the link. Make sure that it is before an after the url with no spaces and it will work.

Or you can copy and paste the url, highlight it and click the "insert image" button - second from left looks like a little picture.

Now if could just find some magic dust to make unresponsive SL's dissappear I'd have a good day - actually no, had to work 4 hours today which makes over 40 hours in the past week which clearly violates my 10 hours a month ethic!!

okay... I tried what you said IRA, before trying forum1 and it didnt work, though I could have messed it up.

Now, since I know how to put up a screen shot, where would I put one of someone calling people a nigger? - this is the one I was s'posed to post a couple weeks ago (only place comes to mind is teamkills which doenst seem right)
