Thread: Howdy BF2142 squad

im a ttp regular in tf2 and rarely css, just decided to reinstall bf2142 out of boredom and enjoyed actually having a competent squad.

only problem i had was getting in the conquest server had some error about havign a modified version of the game

but watevr it was GG playing with some of the people there, if you see some guy constantly driving off of cliffs (on accident) that would be me.

Re-apply patch 1.4 and your 'modified content' errors should go away. Driving off cliffs... you must have attended the AK school of driving.

Cojiro, do you have Northernstirke?

if not you may be getting that when those maps load.

if so, as sugggested above, reinstall 1.4 patch. When you install Northern Strike it requires 1.4 patch to install. However you have to REinstall 1.4 afterward also, screwy but true.

If that doesn't do it, then I am not sure.

is northern strike free? i remember seeing something about that when i had originally stopped playing the game but really didnt think about it. if its not free then im outta luck, ill try the reinstallation of the patch thing but im really low on cash and ive decided not to spend any money except for gas and food until i get out of debt.

Not a prob then, one out of every 4ish maps is a Northern strike map. You will just have to sit out those maps, take a Restroom break, check your E-mail etc, jsut watch for the next map to load and you are golden... for 3-4 more maps anyway

On the plus side, if you don't have a TF2 reserved slot, waiting for a NS map to finish takes less time than it does to get on the TF2 server.

but i do have a tf2 reserved

Then, go and play TF2 for 20 minutes and then come back.
