Re: Pilots
I have been trying to pick up the skill of flying now for a couple months. I have to give it to the guys that get the jets....cause that is the first problem...a lot of guys are trying to fly. Once I get a jet I almost feel guilty that I took it because I know I am in a deep learning curve....usually if my team is loosing I will give up trying and go back to ground pounding to try and help the team better.
When I am in the air it is definitly not as easy as it looks...and I have to give respect to those that have become such good pilots. I use to call all the pilots "Jet Whores", stop doing that when I started to learn to be like them. What you definitly have to do is be better at the other phases of the game. I am as good with a tank as most pilots are with their jets and helos.....so when you have one of those days when your ass is getting raped.....just be patient and you will get a map that you can in
turn stick it up their sweet asses!
I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was!

Re: Pilots
Does the term "ground pounders" mean people getting ass-pounded on the ground by jet whore bombs all the time?

YAY Jet Whores!!
Seriously now, I think people just progress in this game, and they keep learning new things, and then eventually, when they get good at using vehicles on the ground, they naturally pick up other vehicles to learn how to use....like helo's and jets...and with lots of practice, lots of UAV, Enemy trees, enemy walls, enemy buildings, enemy mountains, enemy crane deaths....they eventually get good...and progressively...almost unstoppable...

Re: Pilots
Xav there are nights that I am the best pilot on my side and if anyone looks at my stats in a jet they will know how that is going to go for the poor bastards on my side, but I at least give it a try and why does someone worse than me always grab the fighter and bomb stuff leaving me to try and fight the enemy jets in the damn bomber.

Walking basically renders you invisible to the flyboys...

Re: Pilots
Oh and another thing...when you turn a flag neutral...Especially if it goes neutral quickly, the pilots will know its infested by enemy...so try to stay on the edges of the flag cap radius, and as soon as that mother goes friendly....haul ass out of that area because itīll surely be bombed or strafed. (If there are intelligent pilots flying) Otherwise, you wonīt have to worry much about this.

Re: Pilots
If a flag turns enemy really fast, I prefer not to see any little squares on that flag...It means itīs all unprotected, unsheltered infantry like sitting ducks waiting to get strafed and then bombed for the coup de grace.
