Thread: Woes of high ranking players

Q.What is one of the reasons gamers play games?

A.To achieve the highest rank or skills possible within that game.

I haven't been playing BF2 regularly and I notice my stats are showing that I have.
I wrote to EA support to help if I could change my password alas there is no option to change your password for your BF2 account.



Here is the text I wrote to EA support

I have an account named GrandMasterGuess which I have been playing since
8/05 and have just ranked up to a 4 star general. I check my stats daily and
noticed that my account name has been on servers that I have not played on.
I am certain someone is using a hack on my account, I needed to still get a
helicopter combat award and when I checked my stats it says I have already
earned it. Here are some IP addresses that I pulled out of my favorite
servers history which appeared and I know that I have never visited those
servers which look like NON DEDICATED servers.

I would like to change my password on my account to keep the integrity of my
account name/game.

I need your help. I don't want to get my stats wiped because I am being
hacked.
I will not use my account for a whole month if you can catch the
perpetrators.

I logged in to gamespy once and found that you can change your password or screen name there It changes it in the game as well, I was able to change my password.

As of right now I am being HACKED!!!

Why the hell would I play on a FF off server. And I don't have WaX+Az as my tags.

Get this as soon as I posted the above within 1 minute the hacker left the game.

Wondering if EA has a 1-800 # so you could talk to a human...
