the intent of the programmers has been persistent structures. We can't blow things up that weren't meant to be blown up. EMP is electromagnetic energy, isn't bound to the same laws as the 1st 2.

It can/will be hard to enforce. But, I need practice banning people.

    understood.

If I am tossing RDX around on the titan just trying to kill people, set an ambush, whatever..., am I in danger of accidentally triggering an exploit that could get me banned, or is it a very specific process that has to be done just right.

It would be nice to know before I start chucking RDX everywhere when attacking a titan.
I think you are in danger IF the RDX lands in the right spot. (Note: I have no idea where this spot is)

However, I do not believe the spot is very big so the chances of hitting it accidental are slim. Also I know the spot is basically above corridor 1/2 and if those have not been broken yet you really have no reason to be putting RDX up there legitimately. Once they are down and you have reason to be up there harassing people there is no exploit to worry about as no one will be in those corridors to be effected anyway.

Cool, thanks Glitch good to know. I have no clue how these kinds of things work... if its a small spot and its above 1 and 2 there should be no real chance of it happening by accident.

Re: Intresting Find, But Is It Exploit?

I know how to dump a sentry through the roof into corridor 1 (and I assume 2). Someone demonstrated that "trick" to me. Didn't require any special positioning. Luckily, I don't think it can be done with anything BUT the sentry, which is good.

In any case, passing through solids is bad.

On a side note, are smokes actually useful indoors? They're so short lived outside, and do such a piss-poor job of masking anything...

A couple of smoke grenades properly placed in the corridors can be fairly effective.

It's a place you don't really have any reason to place RDX except one. If you are just randomly trying to blow people up you aren't likely to hit it.

I hear that the smoke 'nades are o.k. now that they boosted their effectiveness in the 1.4 patch, but I never really use 'em myself. I still tend to run with the rockets and zapper as assault. But I'm also not a titan attack specialist- I keep meaning to grab the radar nades and play around with them a bit...

Not to argue with the verdict but has anyone checked whether smoke passes through all walls and not just specific locations? Maybe I should have before making this post, but Im a bust guy in the battlefield :P

What the hell does that mean? Is that like being a leg man?

Get in to some of those shelled out buildings (Silo 5 on Minsk, south of Church on Verdun, etc) and throw some smoke in those buildings, see if it spills around the outside of the walls, I'm curious on that one

Also curious about smoke and the forcefield doors on Console 3/4 or at the other end of the hallways.

    oops. I meant busy guy.

I'll check the Titan walls in the deck entrances. Then the walls I know are exploitable, I know one in FOB and Sidi, not familiar with the ones you stated.
