Good post RV. May the air whores be the most hated on the server!

I baserape all the time but players need to know when to do it and if it's feasible to steal jets/choppers or blowing up their assets/capping main flag.

It's the mentality of players if they want to win the game or be selfish and try to rack up points in jets. I have no problems with jet whores as when I have one in my squad are very helpful on getting rid of that chopper or armor and especially the jet whores on the other team.

A suggestion on the map rotation focusing on air/ground/air/ground maps to balance the playing field.

Hey, you can hmmm all you want. I'm not speaking for anyone but me. As for teamwork, my stats in the game speak for how I play. Click on that BF2 link over by my avatar. I primarily play medic but will pick up any kit that benefits the squad/team/situation. My recommendation to anyone that gets their panties in a wad about a round or two that doesn't go to their liking, whether it be the evenness of the teams, too many people waiting to fly, no one signing up to be commander, etc., etc., is to chill out. It's a game that is supposed to be fun and it usually is on this server; however, NO SERVER is going to be great every round...not even TTP.

If I'm on another server (which is rare), I might mix things up and try to fly a bit. But when I'm on TTP, I know my skills and I know they aren't in the air. If I'm on TTP, I'm there to advance my team, my commander, and my squad by doing everything I can to win. If that means sitting at tv station on sharqi and playing defense, getting almost no points... So be it. If that means keeping my butt out of a jet/chopper, then so be that as well. If I ever EVER hopped in a jet or chopper to show off my non-existant flying skills, leaving a manno or a xavsnipe on the ground wondering who the idiot was that just stole their death-dealing ride, I would expect a serious tongue-lashing here. TTP is NOT for experimenting. As far as I'm concerned, this is as close to a job as I can get and still have fun. My job is to help my team win, and that's not standing around on the airstrip waiting for a jet for half the round. If there's a "line" to get a ride, then you'd best get your butt out on the ground and start killing and taking flags. If you aren't, you aren't doing your job.

If there are tons of players just waiting for a jet to spawn for half a round, that is in no way helping the team and you'll probably loose all of your flags reeaaaaally fast.

Sure, I'll wait for the jet, DEPENDING ON THE PERSON WHO GOT IT FIRST though....If I'm hauling ass for the jet and (2) Manno or Fisster or Jonny V or Tamato beats me to it, I'm not gonna sit there and wait because I know it ain't coming back any time soon.

Then again, if it's someone a bit less experienced :P that I know will be shot down in about mmmmm 2.34 seconds, then yes, I'll wait for it to respawn, then if I don't get it second time around, I'm outta there.

Get it out of your system on Tampa... I swear, the jet sat at the hangar for the longest time when I was on the US side yesterday. I finally took it after respawning about 6-8 times and grabbing the Abrams next to it, just to have someone hit me with an Eryx as I started the takeoff roll... :5
