Well, played yesterday on Kubra damn, and what did I see....

I saw at least +10 players "High Quality/High ranking" players just sitting at the US hanger waiting to steal a Jet and or chopper form the Crew who had just taken off with it.....

It's no wonder why we can't get Squads together and win a game..... everyone in on our Hanger is doing nothing but waiting....

It's was surely PATHETIC..... I stopped in my fast mover to pick up some of the guys up to go take flags, but NONE of them got in my vehicle.

So all I wanted to say to you guys sitting at the Hangers waiting for Jets, Holy Fraking Pathetic!

What happened to the game of BF2....? Well, it's turned into a JET whore game.

Is this the culture we want here at TTP? I don't think so, but this is the culture we have.... add in the locked Squads and the culture is propagated.

Happened on the MEC side on Gulf of Oman as well. Got the jet rape from the carrier and yet everyone stayed back at the airfield in the vain attempt of trying to get the MIG and the SU off the ground. Before you knew it they only place to spawn was the airfield.

They should make a map thats nothing but attack helo's, bombers and jets. Enough for everyone to be able to fly.

That way it gets everyone jet stupidity out of their system and the game can go on.

Also, would make for a really good dogfight

I'm not sure I follow "...waiting to steal a Jet or chopper from the crew..." part of your comment. First of all, the crew that first jumps in air assets don't "own" the asset; therefore, for someone else to get them after they respawn isn't "stealing". Secondly, many times the first people to get into air assets aren't the best people to be piloting them for the team. I want my team's best pilots back there trying to get into the assets. Finally, the primary purpose in playing the game is to have fun. Speaking for myself, I've got less than 90 hours in the air out of almost 1500 total. If I decide I want to fly a jet/chopper to change things up from my normal ground-pounding routine, that's exactly what I'm going to do. I wouldn't begrudge someone else from doing the same thing. Just my opinion.

OK.... so your attempting to justify 10 players waiting for Air assets at the hangers... hmm.

Sure the Jet does not belong to anybody.... but responsible players should know that waiting around for Air Assets, doing nothing, does nothing for the team. We, as TTP reservist and regulars (if you're not included in this list, then I'm not talking to you), should know these things. And now by taking the Jet for your own benefit ( as we very well know that someone else was flying it), now leaves an existing Jet Squad out to dry... with no Jet and more than likely no Vehicle.

Ahh yes,

I don't think "waiting in line to get Air assets" is the game we should be playing, for fun.

Playing the game of Battlefield 2 with an emphasis on "Team work" is the game we should be playing.

Ahh, but some of you shun the word "team work"... go for it.
