I saw both of you (JB and Walker) for the half round I was on. Then it went to a NS map and I got booted. So I finally decided to get the NS upgrade, loaded it and half an hour later, was ready to join again - then I get this message to revert back to the original 2142 format or something and still couldn't join. I see there is a procedure to fix this in one of the stickies - but that can be tomorrow's problem.

Simple fix, Bryn... Make sure, after you install NS, that you re-install the patches. If you did that, well, then, I dunno what the hell's wrong.

I reinstalled patch 1.5 last night - but not 1.4. first. Anyway I gonna fix it later and then I will be on again.

There's two different 1.5 patches.. one is an incrimental patch, an update if you're already patched up to 1.4; and then there's a full patch, to use if you've just installed 2142 and don't have any other patches to it on yet. Just make sure you're using the right one. I think the one offered for d/l here is the incrimental one.

Thanks Walker. I'll check them out later. I slept late (but I am on PST) and I'm still busy waking up. I need to be on Coffee #2 or #3 before I start fidling with the computer.
