So you want to pod to the back deck?
I recently had some fairly experienced players ask about how I pod to the titian back deck reliably. This may be one of those things that those who have been around awhile forget how tough it is to do when you haven't figured out the trick yet.
So here's the trick (or at least the way I do it) and it couldn't be any easier.
Get in the pod launcher along-side the titan hanger deck.
Turn so you are facing directly away from the Titan, or facing just slightly forward if you prefer.
Before you launch, get a finger ready on the mini-map zoom key ("n" is the default)
Launch. Your mini-map zoom will usually change when you depart the titan, so hit the zoom key once or twice as needed to get the zoomed-in view of the titan so you can see clearly where you are in space.
Once you launch, don't try to "turn around" to get to the titan. Simply use your "back" key to back yourself over the titan.
Once you are back over your titan, take your finger off the "back" key, tap the "forward" key to kill your momentum.
Look down to see your landing spot, and tap whichever direction you need to hit your mark.
(You can hit the titan deck or parked transports pretty well just by looking at your mini-map, but if you want to be really precise, like landing in a smoke-stack, or landing on a pesky enemy, you'll have to look down, get oriented, and aim for your spot. That piece of it takes a little practice.)
Good hunting!

easier way is to simply aim the titan pod towards the back of the titan, instead of out or to the front. Then, as you are ejected, look towards the titan and guide yourself in.
Fairly simple procedure. Even landing on the roof the titan, or into the holes of the balcony entrances can be done.

You even have time to pod onto enemy soldiers, too. What you should remember is that while you can attempt this pod while drunk on cave-liquor, you should not try it on Hobo-liquor, unless of course you are the Hobo King or one of his protegees.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

While we're on the topic of pods...
Before 1.5, I used to pull 2 nasty tricks with gunships and air transports that got out of the view of the Titan AA guns.
I'd get in the Titan pod launchers, then guide my pod usually to the tail area or the main compartment of the gunship/air transport and it usually ended in my pod slicing through their flimsy hull and me flying towards the ground safely in a pod, cackling away. Unfortunately, I can't do it anymore, as 1.5 seems to have made air transports/gunships impervious to pods now.
However, if you feel like sacrificing yourself in a huge ball of flames, you can land your pod on a docked enemy air transport (it's hilarious when they just get out and all get blown up by the air transport that oh so happily JUST got them to the titan)
I find it easier to get to the little silo things on top of the titan if you face your pod forward instead of backwards, then guiding it back onto the silo things. Very easy to take out beacons that way (I wish you could destroy them by podding directly onto them, I mean, you can kill soldiers and gunships, why not a beacon?)"In matters of style, swim with the currents... in matters of principle, stand like a rock."

I have podded transports and gunships since 1.5... In fact, we were priming the other night and I podded bigdog's gunship as he hovered near Silo 3 on Suez. I always aim for the back half of the transport/gunship. The tails seem a lot more vulnerable to damage than the main body of the ship.
