    It's not a free map... The problem is people haven't purchased the 'battle pack' that these maps were included in.

    Actually, thats a pet peeve of mine on the big maps, even moreso when I'm commanding.

    It seems that people only drop sonars everywhere on the small maps. The sonars are even more useful on the big maps. SATSCANS and UAVs are limited time offers. Constant information is so powerful, but since it doesn't generate points directly, I think people ignore it.

    Sonars left behind or at choke points provide a LOT of advance warning that heeeeey, something points approaches. Time to turn and face the threat. Or you can monitor a 2nd point while sitting on your 1st point.

    Ugh.... just not enough information every on the battlefield. If you're not seeing red on your radars, you don't have enough eyes or sonars looking. Commander can't do it all.

    Hearing them when in a tank or walker can be at times difficult.

    i think another problem is that people would uninstall and then whe they reinstall they can't find the NS or don't want to take the time to fix everything up that happened to me and seriously EA should hand that out for free now cause it has been out for over a year right and i just don't feel like buying it again 10 dollars isn't alot but the time it takes to load install and re patch everything its just not appealing

    A LOT of people that have NS cant even get it to work, and some people that do have it dont like the map, and some ppl just dont have it period... i just wish that map wouldnt come up cause i play on the server and i get some dumb little message that i got a motifed map or some shit... so i leave the server for an hour or so..

    I thing Liepzig actually plays best with a light-to-moderate crowd. Last few times I've played it we've been priming, or it's early/late in the in the evening, and with a smaller crowd it plays like a night commando raid on a lightly defended city- very cool. Once the crowd gets larger, it's o.k., but really not much to distinguish it from other bloodbath-close-quarters maps, other than the walkers and speeders. (Which is o.k. in my book.)

    Oi rage did you check out the "problems" thread? If you get the modified content message you either a) need to reapply the latest patch, or b) update punkbuster (to my knowledge).

    imho, i love the NS maps. Remagen is great on a full server.

    I typically run Sentry and Sonar on small maps and switch to EMP and sentry or RDX shotty(Mine clearing) on big maps. The sonar distance is simply to short to see anything unless you are 100% zoomed in and even then it is pretty small.

    I quit playing Engi on Big maps. Everyone and thier dog is an engineer, when I play one I can never get enough ammo for my Pilum. I make sure my squad doesnt' suffer from this now.
