Possible hack? Players respawning way to fast

Since I heard someone else mention it ingame last night, I thought I would post about it.

Seems to me that some players are respawning way to fast. As an example, I was playing Minsk on Titan and I killed a player by the bridge then moved to silo 1 to clear the silo. By the time I got there, that same player comes hauling arse around the back of the silo, I kill him again but was mowed down by someone behind him. At first I dismissed it as maybe the guy who killed me was a SL and had the advanced beacon that decreases respawn time but I realized that I didn't see the tell tale smoke trail from a pod. Being as close as I was, it would have been obvious.

Has anyone else noticed this or am I just imagining things?

A Squadleader can recieve an unlock that allows his squad to respawn faster on his becon. The player could have also be revived by the player that killed you, as for regular spawning on the squad leader, or on a spawn point, there is no ability in the game that allows for that. I could be wrong though.

I've also noticed similar things, as in someone spawning way too fast (or at least it appears that way). Though I generally chalk it up to observer error (the observer being me).

i noticed to but i assumed that it was the SL advanced thing cause i have that and i think it extremely helps out the squad and no more long waiting

In the example I gave, I could swear I saw him get revived (Legs jumped around while prone) but I can't be 100% sure but it could have been the guy that killed me moving around.

As mentioned in my post, it was a difference of being at the bridge at silo 1 and then suddenly being AT the silo with me being somewhere in between.

Also note that I didn't see the tell tale pod smoke trail.

I've noticed a few new clans on the servers. They had names very very similar to each other. Maybe that was it.

Nope, in my example, it was the same exact guy. No tags but a "unique" name. Obviously, I don't want to say the name because I could be completely wrong and don't want to slander someone.

That make me think it is someone who is a regular player around here and you do not want to bash them. You should PM the name to an admin, they won't do anything...but they will keep an eye out on that player and pass the information onto other admins to keep an eye on them and watch for this to happen.

People have been caught with this before, but it was always on the same map and we chalked it up to a glitch in that map...

There is a glitch that happens occasionally, which lowers the spawn time and can happen on any map to any player.

Actually, I don't know if they are regs. From the few people I've seen it happen with, it's the only time I've seen them before.

And I got a PM from an admin about it. Gave the info I had although in the future I'll be noting more info for them. Maybe look at logs or something?
