Nope, you get extra unlocks by earning the NS awards (medals and ribbons).

The good news is, they come pretty quick. IIRC you can get the first 6 or 7 in like 4 hours.

If you need help on any of 'em, gimme a shout and I'll be happy to do so (within the bounds of appropriate team play, of course.) But if you need a goliath driver so you can work the 'nade launcher, or a Hachi gunner so you can run people over, etc. I have so few awards left it's fun to help someone get theirs- A vicarious award thrill, I suppose, but fun none-the-less. :P

If you were on my team, sorry- My game is characterized by stretches of mediocrity punctuated by flashes of decency and moments of pure suckage, like when I bounced a frag off the titan cross-beam and wasted my whole squad the other day. D'oh!

By the way, if seem merciless and bitter lately, thank Aenima, who took my tags twice in one night. That hasn't happened in a *long* time. Then frickin' Iron_man did it a couple of nights later.

I've done that, except that I lagged at the same moment, so I saw the frag land at the end of the corridor nicely, then rocket in a straight line right back next to me. Boom: dead squad.
