strange
I usually like to make a joke about gameplay and the characters I meet while playing. In the time that I have played here, some two years or so, I like to feel I have made some friends.
I walk through life with a smile on my face and my motto is "best foot forward". So when I come across some things I wonder what drives people. What was your incentive.
I play this server because I like the people that play here. I like the team play aspect of bf2 and this server doe's this justice.
So I ask myself why would your squad mate punish for a team kill?. Strange. Dam strange.
Or am I the only one who thinks this?. I know that sometimes you do not get a choice. In the time I have played here this is only the second time I have been punished by a squad mate.
Gentlemen. In battle you and your brothers fight side by side. So pray do tell. Why?.
Now this person was quite casual about this as if this is the normal game play. To punish your own squad mate. STRANGE.
I am sorry if this seems like a moan up, But..........I really am missing the point here.

Re: strange
There was a lot of that this afternoon. Found my self in several squads with only a few familiar faces and people were punishing left and right for things such as running in front of my jet/tank/dpv, you name it.
On that note it was hard getting my squad to be cohesive at all today on Kubra... Props to Heat10 and SlyKiwi for spawning green and doing as asked. As for those punishing, off on a slope sniping, not spawning on green, no VOIPing, good for nothing useless non-teamplayers, they can kiss my balls.
In any case, I have on occasion accidentally punished the underserving, and I apologize. Perhaps your casual punisher was trying to vote no?

Re: strange
I really only punish people if it was obviously their fault and they were being a dick.
If it was questionable and i dont really recognize the name, i normally punish because i dont really pay attention to the kills unless its mine. So i dont want to not punish someone TK'ing everyone.
If i recognize the name, and they dropped a bomb on me? no big deal, happens to everyone.

Re: strange
haha in the heat of battle today we had like 6 or 7 guys all grouped up and shooting at each other.. i laid down to reload real fast (i was on a few corpes) and i saw someone running at me.. i emptied the 12 gauge in their face.. come to find out it was Xavsnipe (on my team) running around the building to look for other people to shoot at.. My bad bro.. yet he knew it wasnt intentional and forgave me..

Re: strange
Unless the tk was intentional, I will give one warning, then kick people from my squad who auto punish. The battlefield is chaotic and fast paced, mistakes happen, people get killed. But the people in my squad are one unit, we don't punish eachother.
That said, I punished my squadleader on Karkand yesterday by accident. I was in a hurry to forgive and missed the button. Sorry Leaf. My bad!
One more thing that can go wrong... :3For when the One Great Scorer comes, to write against your name, he writes not that you won or lost, but how you played the Game

Some people get into the mind set of automatically punishing TKs. With the way many servers are out there, I can see why. It wasn't until I started discovering some better gaming environments (i.e. TTP) that I got out of that mindset as well.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

Re: strange
I play in a dark study and there have been times that I did hit the wrong button...but then I saw a post on here about just not hitting the button at all because it defaults to a auto forgive.
So unless I feel it is intentional or extreme carelessness I leave the button alone.
I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was!
