2142. Is it worth it?

Stupid EA. I have logged in and out over and over and it still won't update my stats. I have 159 points and no new ranks or unlocks. Anyone want to prime the server with me?

that happens sometimes
its a glitch and it'll update eventually, but one thing you can do to try and update them is connect to an EA server which updates faster

Just keep playing, generally I get the award in the next game I play, somehow EA figures it out about mid-game (the game after you actually win the award).

Yup definately different than BF2, every vehicles have their weak spots, for the walker: the knees, Groin, or ass; for the tank: Sides do half damage, front=suck ass, ass=instant kill; APC: sides or ass; FAV basically blow up quickly and can be hurt by small arms fire; Gunship: Basically a kill if shot with a rocket; Transport: Side(cargo bay) do the best, but it pretty weak as well.

Different tactic from BF2: Going from standing to crouching gives you better aim than the BF2 Stand to prone.

Again like everyone said, just get someone up in Xfire to prime the server and we will come and help :9

Don't forget Squad upgrades.

If your squad follows orders and works together you can get Temp unlocks. 1 level in each column. They only last until you disconnect fromt he server but they are a great way to check out some unlocks with out committing to them

Taking the kits from fallen players also helps you see what things do.

Yep - it sucks that is true. I lost an entire session of gaming (probably 5 or so rounds) last week....and 4 wins and close to 100 sniper kills and the pins and the etc - gone with the wind - they've never reappeared

I have read through and of course can see you are on a learning curve. Fun?. I hope so because I ordered the game on the internet. Should have it by Friday the latest.

btw you can still kick butt without spending 1 unlock point

as Rhys and Glitch stated, squad upgrades (good test of your squad and squad leader) and kit stealing are of course desired (I do pity the people who pick up my initial kit hehe)

I always go assault, to start, on my alt, as the base weapons kick butt
and some of the first level squad upgrades are defib and grenades too

My alt has 16 unspent unlocks and counting....trying to see how
far she can get without spending 1 pt
