The definition of a non-team playing ass. On 8-31 Zatar our side was getting our asses handed to us so I made a request to the Commander to ask that Squad 4 (Major Brass) who was the only squad leader in a jet would please bail out over a enemy flag so that his "TEAM" would have spawn options other than our MEC main. When he kept flying I joined his squad to ask him if he could bail and that I would spawn on him and we could take the flag. Some words were exchanged and this guy leaves the squad and makes a new one. Understand that this was our teams only hope to take another flag as we were pinned down in our main. Every attempt to exit the main was futile.

He said something like "leave me alone". If I understand the rules of TTP than this guy is clearly violating them. Others have noticed similar responses from Major Brass so I am not the only one. We lost that round by over 100 points and I contribute the loss to Major Brass as he failed to act in the teams best interest.

Iam not perfect either but it just so happens that I was piloting the other jet as squad leader and I bailed out over Factory and took the flag at the start of the round. This made it possible for our team to take Central Island. The US team was clearly stronger than ours and took every flag right back. So I had only one option , get in a jet and bail over a flag or someone else do the same.

Please forgive my ramblings but Major Brass's actions and response to my request infuriated me. People call Xav and 2 manno jet whores but they pale in comparison to Major ASS. Ive been known to fly a jet all round on many occaisions but when it gets this bad I will bail.

Its too bad when players such as these decide that the rules of teamplay do not apply to them. I am not asking Admins to act upon this but I wish only to bring this sort of behavior to light. There are new players on TTP server all the time and it is up to the regulars to lead by example and shun those who REPEATEDLYrefuse to conform to teamplayer standards.

Well that is my two cents worth. Its time for everybody to call me a hypocrit, whiner, whatever but this guy sticks out like a sore thumb and really bugs the shit out of me.

I have not really paid attention to his teamplay behavior during rounds, but I've noticed that he'll spend an entire round waiting for a jet. He's an air whore every which way, even bigger than me, Xav, and (2)manno put together.

Another thing that I've noticed, as Jurassic pointed out, is that he'll make a squad and get in a jet and fly around to get points, not really playing for the team. I haven't joined his squad as of late, but I'm sure he doesn't really play for the team.

And yesterday, I was in Partyball's squad and Party was the gunner in the US bomber, and Brass was the pilot. It took like 8 spammed messages telling Brass to fly over MEC airfield until he finally complied.

Jurassic has a point, and I agree with him, although I have never witnessed him doing that. Although I also wouldn't put it past him to do that

Yea I remember playing with Brass on SSE's server a long time ago and the only difference from then and now is he fly's the jet instead of the chopper.
I guess I'm not really one to talk either...I'm in air assets pretty often myself but I usually don't sit around the entire round and wait for them.

Yea, during that round he actually accused me of waiting all round for the jet when actually I was ground poundig my way out of MEC main. I sawon the mini map that one of our jets was down so I thought I would again bail over a flag to capture it. It just so happened it was the one he was flying. I took it and that was when he accused me of non teamplay and camping the hanger.

Next round being the non teamplayer he accused me of (I was commanding) I asked him again if he would bail out over a flag to capture it. (quote)"NO, what do you have against me? why dont you go play some infantry only server and leave me alone"

How do you plan on having your squad spawning green. Just lock yourself in your squad or something. Major Brass and other's are guilty of this.

As am I at times. But usually only when were winning but not always. And if asked I relingwish SL to another in the squad.

Xav is correct. As [IRON] plays together this is quite the norm. 20 times a day I or others like us suicide to spawn on our squad leader who just bailed.
