While priming yesterday afternoon and waiting for FireDog to quit cowering in his titan, I was goofing around with the gunship. I parked it on Minsk and dropped supply boxes next to it my gunship, then started sending TV missiles at the commander assets.
I swear in a previous thread someone had definitively said that TV missiles do not hurt commander assets. I found that they seem to have the same effect as RDX. 2 hits on some of the assets = destruction, 3 on the others.
So, to test, I dropped supply boxes on the enemy commander assets and continued blowing them up. It was also good practice in trying to control those things. I kept blowing th assets up even though they were on the extreme edge of the TV missiles performance envelope.
Not that it helped, but I was also hitting the front of the enemy titan right next to where Firedog was standing (in the first step down off the flight deck before going left or right. I knew I was hitting close to him when on the explosion, I could momentarily see his body. I think he was AFK though, he never moved. You'd think a missile 2 feet from your head would still make you jump.
And the EA stats need to hurry up, I've been dropping gunships via SAAW like crazy lately. I want to see what level the carnage has gotten to.

No, they definitely do. When I SL on NS maps I like order a speeder gunner/driver pair (one of whom is support) to go after commander assets.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

Well...... 1st, I can't believe you are calling BigDog old. That's brave.
And I make use of my priming time. Such as the above. Or learnign to fly from chase view. Lot more difficult than you'd think. Especially as the POV finally swings around to show you in your turn smashing a building that was out of your FOV

But I was able to fly between buildings, under bridges etc, etc all w/o looking at the cockpit view.
And you shouldn't give me toooooo much flak about flying. You've generated enough wreckage from my SAAWs we could replenish the entire EU fleet of titans from recycling your downed gunships. :6
