Firing From The Hip

Anything under 20 yards is getting it from the hip, losing that much vision in such close quarters is not worth it.

From the hip in close quarters. When up close and the enemy invariably dolphin dives, I run around them in an arc or circle pumpin lead into their back and head from the hip. From farther off I take a knee, sight in and fire. From a large distance, I'll go prone, sight in and then fire.

I play COD4, and we too have the option to fire from the hip.

However, just ask my opponent, I much prefer to go Prone, Aim, and make sure that I get the kill when shooting at an enemy; as opposed to firing from the hip with the potential of missing.

Nothing worse than missing the Kill, running out of ammo, and dieing as a result.

So for me, I try and never shoot unless I know that I will get the kill, and that takes positioning, timing and patience. And just for the record, I'd much kill my opponent while on their flank... makes the survivors nervous as Hell!

I'd rather not like to think about all the kills that have gotten away from because of this. It seems like BF2 has a habit of allowing you to hit your opponent enough to put them near death, and then somehow miss untill your reloading...and dead.

I used to be an old pro at BF2, but I retired several months ago to pursue other battles.... COD4!

If you use the G36c correctly and efficeintly, you can kill between 4-6 players PER CLIP..... using one to two burst per enemy. If you hit him solid, rest assured that by the end of the second burst, you opponent will be dead. I so good at it, that I could start running away, before the enemies body hit the ground..... just cause I was that confident about the weapon and it's capabilties.

In close quarters almost all of the time. Since you brought this up, I have a question.
If you notice when you go to zoom on your weapon, it seems like your movement is very restricted and slow. Is this actually what happens, or is this just what you think is going on??

you talking about cod4 right now? if cod4 yes i can see it, but in BF2 no way unless you have godly aim
