Teamkill Policy
What is the server's official policy on Teamkills?
I had a horrible round a few nights ago in which I had three (3) teamkills from teammates running in front of my vehicle or into my line of fire. Each time I immediately appologized, but seemed to be docked the points regardless of the circumstances.
Are points taken automatically or is it up to the sole discretion of the killed payer? If it is the later of the two and up to the killed player, we have WAY TOO MANY PUNISHES going on.
People need to remember that accidents will happen and that we are all here to have fun and play as a team.
I for one never intend on killing and will appologize every time if I do make a mistake. If I was careless which resulted in the teamkill, then I deserve it.

RE: Teamkill Policy
It is the responsibility of the player to check this firing lanes and driver vehicles in a proper fashion consistent with team play. Intentional team killing is unacceptable and will result in being booted. As to your other question regarding the how the points are docked this may be better addressed by big dog.

RE: Teamkill Policy
Well, at least my fears of a vindictive team atmosphere is aleviated. Automatic point deduction, although painful at times, is fair as it is applied evenly.
As far as checking my travel lane and field of fire, I do. As everyone is aware, there are times that no matter how careful we are, a teamkill happens because someone runs in front of us from a blind area or, in some of my cases, they were too close to an vehicle that runs over one of my land-mines.
Regardless, helps to know. THANKS!!!!!!!

When I'm in a heated firefight, there are going to be team kills, and I never punish, because quite often there are 4 or 5 soldiers running around in a skirmish, and someone is definitely gonna get hit by friendly fire...
Of course some people don't have these ideas, that punishing should only be for willful acts of team kill, such as TK'ing for vehicles, or someone that will stand in front of you, knowing who you are and open fire without any other outside influences such as a gun battle going on...
To me it is unsulting to get punished by someone when we are fighting the same battle....after all, my wife says "All is fair in love and war"...
All written IMHO....

RE: Re: RE: Teamkill Policy
just a couple of notes......If you are the DRIVER of a vehicle and a crash occurs, you will more than likely be held accountable for a teamkill, however many were with you......could be 5......
Unlike some that are just spitefull ,,,,,,If you forgive the circumstances, In my opinion it just shows that YOU are the better man and not being hatefull just because you recieved a teamkill......
In rare circumstances, someone kills you like 3 times,,,,,That someone is kicked professionally by an admin so he can go think about whether he wants to play here on this ranked server......
I respect the ones that take it on the chin and FORGIVE.....I KNOW how tempting it can be to jump to conclusions and hit the punish button.....The ones that forgive,,,,,THEY EARN MORE RESPECT AMONG THEIR TEAMATES....

RE: Re: RE: Teamkill Policy
I always forgive. Most of the time the TKs are truly accidents. But if I notice the same person doing the TKing, that is when I punish or when someone doesn't get to fly a chopper and sets C4 and blows up the aircraft with everyone inside is when I punish.

Teamkill Policy
I agree whole heartedly with NHBird. This is one of the best run and admind server that deals with TK Turds.
This is the place you should call home. In the rare occasion that their isnt an admin on...take screenshots of the TKer and post them here, so we can see who to avoid.
My two cents..... (only worth half a cent)
