Barracuda is USMC carrier and 4-ish flags on land, yes? I remember being at the north-east flag, getting separated from my squad and following 11b .. and yea it was like 25 minutes of walking .. you sure need to be patient in PR - I think we were going to back up Nicks and his squad at the northern-most flag, and just as thing were getting hot the map ended 5-0. I think I had maybe one kill. Let's get a freakin humvee next time. :9

Your brain must be addled. We lost 5-0 on Muttrah City, then we capped them out on Operation Barracuda, that was the island map with the carrier. AHAHA..... PR has you flustered already LMAO.

Haha ok nevermind I have no idea what I'm talking about. Like I said, I was focusing on staying alive.. I'm such a PR noob! I also don't like how blue/green player indicators disappear after 20 meters or so, and real ironsights are hard to use. Xav come join 11b's squad tonight.

I forget what the exact quote was, but I was talking about how I wasn't so bad in normal BF2 and 8 people immediately bite my head off with "THIS is normal bf2" haha.

Bah, what you talking about... I just had to give him a hard time. It's okay, that was the first time I actually got to play Barracuda. So I set this attack marker based off of the way I remember the map from the Video we made the other night. Well, they changed the damn capture point so I had us in no man's land for no good reason, which resulted in a much unnecessary walk to reach the docks on the NE tip of the map instead of just up the hill to the bridge cap point. That threw us way off for the entire round. Then I landed us twice right in the middle of LAV's that were manned and caused a beg mess. The only thing I did right was calling in an Extraction to take us to their main so we could cap them out. And even then that was an adventure getting inside their compound. We were in a tight spot.

    How did you like it?
I'm no stranger to PR, but i am to the newest version, and its been over a year since i played.... I like to think i did OK last night although i admittedly caused team damage on two teammates, and racked up two teamkills in one round... Sorry Talon!

But i got a feel for the game again, and got a little of the adrenaline rush that BF2 seldom provides anymore. Its an adjustment for sure, no minimap, no UAV, no bunnyhopping around with a med pack instantly healing.... you know what i mean. The more tactical, thought out sneaky sneaky playstyle that PR provides is more my style.

One thing i wish to do more in PR than i ever did in BF2 is fly the choppers and other aircraft. Ive flown the PR Blackhawks before and can do it quite well. Hopefully its like riding a bicycle.

He did his walking on Muttrah City attempting to hide in buildings and not get wasted by those damned USMC APC's. Sadly enough we lost that round 5-0 because our team didn't know how to properly transport squads with the vehicles we did have. So, taking that into consideration I guess he got sore feet and legs from all the hard concrete we were pounding over between West & East City. Since we were one of two squads working on flags, while we had a squad out in the fucking hills west of the flags not doing anything good for the team. Then throw in the idiots waiting for vehicles to spawn at the main when they could have walked their asses up there and been on the damned flags. ***SIGH***

You hit the nail on the head, there were two other squads, one seemed relatively functional, the other was a complete loss, more like a squad of lone wolves.... yes sometimes we were spread out as a squad, but it was always with a plan, and always in an attempt to set up the fall of the next flag, unlike squad 4 on a tour of the eastern desert regions of Muttrah City!! I'll be getting a little more tonight, but not too late. That was the other thing that i forgot about, those rounds can be LOOOONG. I remember calling AL basrah, "AL facility" because we could never cap and hold beyond facility on slow population nights. The new modes of play seem to have changed that.

    YEAH we have a winner!!

Welcome to the forums man, was nice to squad up with you. No mic but that's forgivable when you provided the kind of team/squad work that I'm used to seeing. I can tell you this though, if you get that mic working, it will be alot easier to help your squadmates know where the enemy is. Nice to see you make it to the forums TOAST
