Age? Porn Avatars?

OK well here is what i was thinking. I was pondering as I was flying around in my Fighter/Bomber if you have a required age for adminship because of maturity level. I have read people say before people should not play this game unless they are 17+ because of a maturity that comes with age.

But really I think a 14 year old child with a 4.8 GPA (it would be lower if I was graded on spelling and wrighting) and a 14 year old child whom is commonly mistaken for older could be and is mature then some adults. I realize people generalize when people say children are not mature but I understand that I refuse to go on school/church trips (with a few exceptions) because of immature Teens.

I mean I am a guy and I can appreciate a women but when I log on to the forums and read the post I am offended with avatars that are Porn. (Random but thought I'd add it in). I don't want to be watching my back for my parents when I am reading through the forums. In conclusion though, Back to my original question are the admin positions age discriminatory?

Lay off he's only a kid. The best thing you can do is show him some respect for being mature enough to bring up a valid point.

Hell, at least their avitars are working. Mine keeps dropping off, and I'm using a stock Avitar from TTP.

I agree with you.. up to a point. A few times, I have logged on to TTP at work, check the Last Forum post and someones avatar (I wont name who...) with three naked girls on it appears on my desktop. AT WORK! I immediately close my web browser. I already have to go around the firewall to get to this damn site, and when I see that shit I panic immediately. My work does not play around with that shit.

To answer your question... no they are not. There have been several "younger" admins in the past. You just have to prove your worth to the community before you are even considered being an admin. Play as a team. Act mature. Be respectful. And remember that TTP is a Gaming Community. We are as big as we are because of we treat the players and admins that work hard to keep things running.

no offense/not to rain on anyone's parade...i didnt say anyhting before, but since you seem to be campaigning for admin...ive seen you tk snipe a pilot out of a chopper so you could get it (and then apologize to the guy that you didnt know it was him...as if it was someone else it would have been justified??)...immediately take off in a chopper when a few other guys were right behind you trying to get in, so that you can wait for a gunner of your choice...and even seemingly intentionally fly in circles and crash (sure it may have been lag or soemthing, but given the behavior ive seen before...). and thats only some of hte stuff ive witnessed myself/firsthand. so no offense, but that kind of behavior doesnt seem too becoming of an admin imo... :?
