but seriously, as long as the enemy has at least one flag, i will focus on that. of course there are always exceptions, such as seeing the enemy flag in nothing but a sea of blue/green, then to avoid any tk's ill take anotehr pass, and/or if still too friendly for a bombiing, maybe take a run at the boat ops: :P

second, i dont cheat. ive never cheated in any games ive played. i dont have the time or energy, besides having an overall disgust for cheaters (cheats/hacks almost ruined half-life based games. im an old skool hl:tfc-er, that still plays it :P, so i can make that claim )

when i fly i have one goal: to take out targets for my team. priorities being...:

1) planes/aircraft
2) armor/vehicles
3) troops/flag clearance

and even those are prioritized by who asks/spots them first, otherwise i just make passes over the battlefield looking for targets. as a matter of fact, i personally will not attack a carrier/uncap until there are no more enemy flags to attack (and on the rare occasion i do, its usually in retaliation to a downed pilot that do nothing but rape the uncap a whole round...and even then, its usually just one pass, if i rememebr to do it at all :lol: ). hell, even if im chinese on wake island, i wont bomb the carrier (im not going to say never, as im sure ive been guilty before...but i wont go out of my way to constantly do it). ive never quite gotten the reasoning/logic of this type of arguement...i mean, if a team has lost all their flags, what is the enemy team supposed to do...ceasefire until the opposing team gets a flag back?

in fact, these type of situations are partially what motivates me to learn how to counter this kind of stuff and adapt as need be. some pilot tearing stuff up? hop in a plane and learn how to fly/fight/bomb to take is arse down. some pilot bombing the chit out of the carrier? get a coupla guys on the AA and tear him a new hole. got a tank bearing down on a flag? go antitank and send up coupla rockets up his yoohoo. a flag that keeps getting barraged with bombs/artillery/armor? spawn somewhere else. to be honest, thats partly how the US lost flags on oman...mostly everyone was spawning from village fortification (or whichever one is on the beach next to the hotel) and pushing to the hotel...just about every pass i made at that flag i would get 4-6 kills, plus a handful by my gunner...while in the meantime, the US had those other 3 flags on the beach...everyone jsut seemed to want to spawn at that far right flag and push to hotel :? then next thing you know, the US has one/none flags left.

but i digress...im starting to ramble/rant myself, so ill wrap it up for now :P

wasent calling anyone a cheater thats why i had it in "....." we all now you can fly. other new people on the server were going ape shit though.

well i was just clarifying, because you have to be really careful throwing around the words 'cheat' and 'hack'. because once someone as much as alludes to something like that, more often than not it turns into a witch hunt where people are too busy keeping an eye on someone than playing hte game, so it hurts everyone else on the server. then from that kind of behavior, it can chase off soem good, honest players :? the whole mob rule/mentality no hard feelings or anything, i was just defending/clarifying just everyone should be cautious when they throw those words around :P

by all means...jsut stay out of the way of my bombs/strafing and all will be ok :P or better yet, hop in the aircraft with me and see who/what/when/where/how/why i operate when i fly... 8-[ :P i almost always fly for the gunner...ill hold a dive so that they can get a shot off before i have to use my bombs...its alot more precise. plus that way i will still have my bombs for a more pressing/approriate situation as noted in the 'etiquitte' thread, ill fly with anyone as long as they at least try to shoot/learn to shoot. :gun: :P the ones that are just along for the ride will either bail out somewhere or wont respawn back at the vehicle after going down. or skrew that even...hop in a plane and shoot my sorry arse down or drop bombs on my head :P

i hardly ever fly a plane on dalian plant...much prefer a attack heli if possible on that map :P

oh, and any new pilots, dont let the f35 discourage you...they are the weakest, most vulnerable, easily taken down aircraft in the game...hell, ive heard then referred to as 'flying coffins' :lol: so actually, you may wanna learn to fly in those first and then maybe the bombers then the f18/mig29/j10. thats sort of a generic weakest to strongest in terms of durability/manueverability. though the j10 is 'heavier' and can be a rascal to control at first but the bombers are different beast unto themselves...they pack quite a wallop...5 carpet bombs, plus a bunkload of essentially the same as helo's tv guided missles, except their splash damage alone can be just as bad/good as a bombing :wink:

Heres my take on this, i first started out at the vanilla 1942 era, then quickly moved on to desert combat!, then DCF came out for those of u that arnt familiar with that mod, it was probly the best mod ever made from BF OG.

First clan i got into was =CBDC=, ''crowbaits desert combat crew, no longer active but for u DC vets im sure u will remember the name, we were a clan that had barely any rules, especially camping. We actually encouraged it!

Before i met these guys, i had been kicked by atleast 500 servers for camping spawns! Gay! :roll: It was actually the first server and group that actually openly opened up to me and respected me for taking the same trash that they dished out without whinning like a lil biatch.

That same group still exists to this day. I left them in december 2005 and moved to LAW the week later. A REAL GROUP OF COMRADS that play for the fun and laughs of owning together! Our rules remain somewhat the same as my first crew, only these guys have a kill or be killed attitude without any questions asked! We play as a band of brothers. LAW has been together for nearly 6 years spanning from the old FPS games so were not a fly bye night group, were a tight ass bunch o chumps coming from the UK, US, CAN, basically around the globe. Our attitude is play the game without whinning and that itsself is a gold medal on its own, work as a team and make shit happen as a group! Whining makes u a poor and poor looking player! not to mention what u make your clan group squad look like after acting like a 12 year old zit faced paracite!

Dont get me wrong, it burns my ass when i cant get off a carrier or any uncap to get to a base and get somethin going, but then i think of all the poor ass fucks that i carpet bomb over and over again and the feeling is O SO SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!
