When my copy of 2142 WORKED *grumblegrumble*, I loved the EU much more than the PAC. I could never get the hang of the PAC stock weaponry, but when I played the EU, everything came together and rocked. Plus, I love hearing the British sounding soldiers accompanied by an American sounding commander. As much as I love having the Russian voice acting on, which I've learned fairly well, I hate the commander's squeaky-ish voice. Plus, where on earth do you see orange on armor?

Re: PAC or EU?
I like the EU's camo scheme, the side arm, most of the vehicles, the moretti and recon skin, and even their titan. But the goddamnn bright orange armor is almost as stupid as the PAC's idea to issue black and green fatigues for snow environments :/, and I seem to prefom alot better with the PAC weaponry. I can get a few pins with the krylov, can't kill shit with the SCAR. Can't tell the difference between the snipers or the LMG. And the PAC's SMG is cooler looking, but the EU engineer's mitchell and turcotte are overall more effective in my hands.
But the hover tank IS fun, and I could swear the air transports handle a little differently. But the bogatyr is much cooler than the riesig. If only all their stuff wasn't olive green when they're fighting in deserts and tundra!
Overall, I gotta pick the EU. The recon guy's cooler, and I like the SCAR even if I suck with it.

No way. I like using a tank as a gun platform. Park it on a hill, kill stuff. The hover tank doesn't work for that, it slips all over the place. It's like it doesn't want to be a tank at all, like it thinks that it's a more agile vehicle. It's like it's trying to be something that it's not.
I used to have two large-ish dogs, definitely not lap dogs by any stretch. One of the dogs knew this, and stayed on the floor so that we could lavish praise and affection upon it. The other dog was apparently unaware that she was a big dog, and would try to climb up into your lap. She'd still get praise and affection lavished upon her, but my voice was a big higher while I did it.
The hover tank is like that second dog.
