it only happens when you change your video settings but atleast it means you got the install down :9

Install is down... I've installed pbsetup, updated pb till i can't anymore and i keep getting booted for a pb error.... btw I still hate EA

id say that its most likey your firewall or antivirus or windows defender or maybe you have peer guardian or some other program like that running

Ok clint, you are having a typical problem many of us have, the best way I have found is to run the pbsvc.exe file you can find here.

It will run a diagnostic of the pnkbstrA.exe, pnkbstrB.exe and pnkbstrK.exe. You will probably get a "All things work and now errors reported" message which is good. After you run this and it finishes the game should be able to start with out the error.

I have base installed and patched to 1.5, but for some ghey reason I have to go to EA's website and enter my key, and player name to have them upgrade my account. I've been to the site but they won't accept my characters name because I haven't played base. Plus in game I'm getting a graphical error where when my screen shakes and gets static all over I get this white grid all over my scree.

Edit... so my graphical error is every time someone cloaks, my screen gets fuzzy, or when I walk into smoke my screen whites out and I cant figure out why.... :5
