When I'm supposed to get static on my screen, I get a white grid. When I get into a titan my entire screen whites out except for my hud and mini map.

I've reinstalled... I've reverted back to dx9.0c... I've rolled my vc drivers back to less shitier ones...

I hate that I paid $30 for this and now I can't even play it. Any help? I could go back and reinstall... again

Try tuning off Anti Aliasing and/or Advanced Lighting.

I had similar after coming back and finally just getting the game to work again - dropping AA to 0 fixed it although I am going mad with jaggies. Fucking jaggies - not sure how long I can deal

Solution is to downgrade the new drivers you installed.

Then change your AA settings back up to 4x

then delete the directories UNDER
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\cache

That should take care of it.

ok... seriously. 2142 is one of the most option specific games I've ever played. If you don't have every option setup properly, then your game will not let you play... I may have it fixed now. *crosses fingers and knocks on wood*
