HRD was in the TWL 8v8 ladder for a while, and I will tell you that it is a totally different ballgame than 30v30. If you decide to do it make sure you take the time to figure out maps, plans, backup plans, strategies, and backup strategies. Many of the players that do the smaller leagues and ladders play only that style of game.

I have played some 6v6's before. I like that style. It reminds me of 3rd person shooters on consoles. Basically just watching the guys back. 1 sniper can make a world of difference as well.

I had a guy or two kill me in TWL that could do things with the default anti-tank gun from 80 yards that Xav couldn't do with Reiskis at 2 yards. You will most likely fight no one worse than your average best player on TTP.

I've been wanting to put together or join a regular squad that always plays together as that one squad. Getting to know each other's habits and action beats, pre-designed "moves" where squad leader could just call the play and everyone knows the plan. That kind of thing. I'm sure its out there, I just dont know where to start.

So I saw the banner in the game for this 6v6 thing and it seems like I pretty obvious place to start.

So yeah...I'm in.

Edit: Though I dont know if I'm hardcore enough yet. I'm decent (usually finish in the top 6 or so on most servers) but I still have tons to learn.
