I finally got the mod downloaded, and logged on tonight. It's like a perfect ArmA substitute so far. I was trying to understand things, so sorry if I messed up...
Ingame name is KYLE700, and I think I'll play this a little more often... It's confusing.
Me: "But the Gunslinger is so much more fun..."
Langrad: "We're here to win, not to..."
Me: "Have fun?" "Hahaha"

As your first SL, I can say you did a good job for your first time in the field.
As we say, "Read the manual". It only takes few minutes. Then get familiar with the basic kits. You can also start a local training server and try all of the kits and most of the vehicles.
