Thread: Beware suckas!

I'm stepping through the time portal from the future in to your land as soon as I figure out how to get everything installed properly! Any input from players of both? Looking foward to finally stepping into modern time..

Your 2142 skills will translate well as a ground pounder in BF2. Squad up with the resident clans and you'll be fine.

There is another blackgold ({HRD} Blackgold1967) on the TTP server, so don't be caught off guard.

Here is one more tip, when going back to 2142 from a long time at BF2, change 2142 Jump key alternative to 9...I say this because I padded my deaths a good few times before getting that idea.

btw, you can't change BF2 alternative to space because it's taken by jump...but who needs jump anyways?

Personally, I changed my parachute key in BF2 to the left Alt key. Close enough to the spacebar. As for who needs to jump? All you have to see is the number of bunnyhopping complaints in game an in the forums to know the answer to that question.

I put the "who needs to jump" in there for that
9 works for me in both games so I'm fine with that...not to mention it'd take a week to rememebr which key I'm supposed to hit

I use X for my parachute key.

You can also make BF2 behave like 2142 and double-bind space to both jump and parachute by manually editing the controls.con file (which is also required if you want to use Tab for something other than the scoreboard; 2142 is much more lenient than 2 on key usage).
