    Vista and BF2142

    Ive been away for a while with school and stuff, now that my job is gone I want to shoot something. My XP partition has some kind of weird thing going on where the task bar disappears constantly. So I was thinking of installing BF2142 on my Vista partition. I was wondering if anyone uses the game with vista, i only have one game on vista and it refuses to work. I haven't touched XP in over 8 months.

    Im liking vista its much faster on my machine.

    Works just fine on Vista. Once you get it installed though, You'll want to grab 'pbsvc' and 'pbsetup' and get yourself updated.

    Yup - Anira is running it on Vista Ultimate 32 and I just reinstalled Vista Ultimate 64 on mine. Will be doing the updates and 2142 install tonight hopefully.
    Runs fine on hers though (I do want to increase the amount of RAM in her system though). I've got 4GB DDR-2 8500 in mine.

    Thanks I just tried to boot windows xp, its toast. I think some virus got to it. :3 I ended up buying a 26inch screennow i have to find the disk and cd key :P

    I think I learned about pbsvc here... I think it's in the common issues sticky... if it isn't, it probably should be. I guess I'll go and check.

    Both are available for DL from TTP.
